From Military Affairs to Workforce Development to Business After Hours, there is such a wide array of committees and events that many of our local businesses and organizations are involved in.
They’re involved because they realize there’s more available to Chamber Members than being listed online or placing a Chamber Member sticker on their door. They’re involved because they’re living out the mission to “facilitate, support and promote the growth of Temple business and the improvement of the quality of life.” They’re involved because they recognize that the more you put into the Chamber, the more you get out of it.
I invite you to do the same. If growing your business is important to you, then you’re also investing in our community and the Program of Work is your tool to contributing and connecting with our active local leaders. The Temple Chamber of Commerce is as strong as the Members behind it and we appreciate each of you who invests your time, skills and resources into the Chamber and out into our community.
I am thankful and blessed for the opportunity to serve as your 2013 Chairman of the Board. As you look over these committees, be encouraged to ask more about something that sparks your interest and join those that are making Temple such a great place to live and work and call home.
