Business After Hours
Chairman: Tyson Murphy
With door prizes, drinks and hors d'oeuvres, this is one of the Chamber's most popular events. These monthly mixers provide Chamber members the opportunity to relax and build contacts after work.

Business Link Lunch

These monthly networking events allow members to connect over lunch.  After a sponsor is highlighted, participants meet with new and existing Chamber members.

Business Networking Breakfast

Start your day off right with coffee, door prizes and an expanded rolodex. Early-morning networking over a complimentary breakfast from a monthly sponsor allows our members to connect before the work day. This committee meets at 8:00am the second Wednesday of every month directly following Breakfast.

Communications
Chairman: Melissa Davis
This committee writes and produces the Focus on Business, a monthly publication distributed in the local newspaper. It covers Chamber events, recognizes member accomplishments and advertises community events and initiatives.

Golf Tournament
Our annual golf tournament is a prime opportunity to get involved. The committee plans organizes and coordinates sponsorships and the events of the day. The tournament is a unique golfing experience for Chamber members, who have the opportunity to advertise and showcase their business at the event. ­­

Red Carpet Ambassadors
Chairman: Kenny Kelly
Co-Chair: Gabrielle Parkey
These individuals serve as the official representatives of the Chamber in welcoming new members, conducting ribbon cuttings and assisting with other member services and recruitment. 

Downtown Temple Alliance
Chairman: John Tipton
This alliance promotes the revitalization, redevelopment and preservation of downtown Temple as well as business and public outreach like Main Street Fright Fest and Cash Mobs.

Leadership Temple
President: Christine Parks
Curriculum Chair:  Jackie Basile
Curriculum Chair:  Meghan McCaffrey
This series of 9 classes culminates in final group action reports and a graduation ceremony. It maintains a strong alumni network and prepares future Temple leaders for community-oriented, decision-making positions. 

Legislative Affairs
Chairman:  Jennifer Graham
Community leaders protect and advocate the interests of Temple and the business community by hosting candidate forums, visiting legislative entities both at home and in Austin and monitoring local, state and federal governmental activities including board appointments. This committee also coordinates several Advocacy Luncheons  including demographics, healthcare and education throughout the year to keep the local community informed about ongoing activities.

Military Affairs
Chairman: Jim Granfor
Co-Chair: Gary Janacek
As a means of building relationships with   neighboring Fort Hood, this committee attends various ceremonies and events, coordinates the Adopt-a-Unit program and honors the local soldiers of our adopted unit, the 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) through various events including the Military Appreciation Luncheon and Toy Drive.

Education & Workforce
Chairman: Mary Ann Rojas
This committee works in various ways to address the education and training needs of the community. The focus of this committee is placed on the infrastructure and facilitation of workforce development through its educational council. We are involved in the various school districts through job training, leadership development and job shadowing.
