Event Description: Understanding Government Contracting For Veteran, Service-Disabled, Woman or Minority Owned & Other Potential and Existing Small Business Owners. Understanding Government Contracting is for anyone wanting to participate in the government contracting process (Commodity, Services, or Construction). This session will discuss the rules, regulations, and the law as it relates to government contracting. (i.e. Federal, State, and local governments) as well as explain those things that are important to know before you start the government contracting process. This session will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 15th 2012. Killeen Workforce Center 300 Cheyenne, Killeen TX 76542 No cost to attend, but must register in advance.
