Event Description: Family Caregiver - Physical Skills The Schmieding Method Home Caregiver Training offers "Family Physical Skills" training for a foundation that helps family members care for their loved ones. Class provides trainng and hands-on practice in the personal care of those who need more assistance with the activities of daily living. Training focuses on the safety and wellbeing of both the recipient and the caregiver, emphasizing in particular infection control and proper body mechanics. Tuition is $35 which allows two persons to attend, and includes: 1 caregiver manual, practice in a simulation lab, resource hand-outs, and access to library materials.
