The Czech Heritage Museum & Genealogy Center in Temple is having an opening reception of the exhibit titled "Czech Muzika, Texas Style", showcasing histories, music, and instuments of Czech polka bands. Guest speakers include Alfred Vrazel(Vrazel Polka Band) and Patrick Sparks(Texas Dance Hall Preservation). There will also be live accordian music and refreshments. This exhibit will show until Dec 31st.

The Natural Grocers in Temple will be hosting a free gluten-free tasting fair on Saturday, June 22nd, from 11am to 2pm. The fair will offer free samples of gluten-free food and body care products, valuable coupons, and door prizes. Come see how good gluten-free can be! Before the fair, from 10am – 11:15am, the Natural Grocers Health Coach (Jessie Hensley, MS, RD) will give a free nutrition presentation entitled Healthy Gluten-Free Living, in the store’s meeting room, which seats 100.
