Fort Hood deploys troops overseas almost every week. In
2006, more than 65% of all Fort Hood Soldiers will be in harm's
way in locations like Iraq and Afghanistan.
As
a participant in the Adopt-A-Unit program you'll be given the
opportunity to show your appreciation and support to immediately
deploying, deployed Soldiers and their families.
Your support and appreciation boosts morale and builds ongoing
relationships and long lasting friendships between Fort Hood
Soldiers, their families, and the City of Temple.
How do I Adopt-A-Unit?
Choose the unit you'd like to adopt.

Once your request is received we will contact you with your chosen units

When you Adopt-A-Unit you choose the level of participation that
best fits
your business.
What
are
some of the things I can do with my Adopt-A-Unit?
You can visit your
Adopt-A-Unit or invite your Adopt-A-Unit to visit you.
You can ask your
Adopt-A-Unit to participate in company activities such
as: baseball games, bowling...etc.
You can have lunch with
members of your Adopt-A-Unit. Whether it's with
1 or more it's
up to you.
The
possibilities are endless.....THE
