Pam Gardner, president of Business
Operations for the Houston Astros will be stepping up to the plate at
the Women In Leadership Quarterly Luncheon scheduled for Wednesday,
September 26th at the Hilton Garden Inn, from 11:30 a.m. to
1:00 p.m.
Now in her 18th season with
the Houston Astros Pam oversees all revenue areas, customer service,
building and financial operations, sponsorships and ticket sales as
well as community and marketing outreach programs. In 1989 she joined
the team as director of communications, developing advertising and
marketing campaigns for the Club, and then held a number of positions
of increasing responsibility in marketing, including a leadership role
in the design and development of Minute Maid park.
The luncheon is open to the public. The cost is $20 for Chamber
members and $25 for non-members and includes lunch.
Registration deadline is Sept. 14th.
