Temple, Texas is a community with a diverse economic base that includes healthcare, distribution and warehousing, and manufacturing as the foundation. Within 180 miles of a population of 17,800,000, Temple is in a strategic location that is central with the southwest U.S. marketplace. 

The Greater Temple Area's population is over 111,000 - and a  significant portion of this Central Texas population routinely commutes from surrounding towns and communities on a daily basis to take advantage of Temple's job market and business environment. Temple's daytime population swells dramatically due to the 2+ million annual outpatient visitors to its medical centers.

There are 55,000 active duty military at nearby Ft. Hood, the largest US Army military installation in the world, 25 miles from Temple.  The retirees and exiting military personnel provides a constant source of workers for the Temple business community, manufacturing, medical and distribution industries.
