OPPORTUNITIES FOR
PARTICIPATION
Each year hundreds of volunteers
strive, through the Temple Chamber of Commerce, to make Temple a
better place to live and do business. By working on a variety of
committees and programs, volunteers help the Chamber accomplish goals
which are important for the economic vitality of the community.
If you interested in serving on a
committee in the following areas, please contact the Chamber at (254)

Business
Growth & Development: Provides a forum for local groups
supporting business and community development. Promotes opportunities
for resources, education and networking.
Community
Development: Promotes growth in the Temple area through
a variety of tourism related activities and the efforts of various
organizations, including Keep Temple
Beautiful, Leadership Temple, Temple Downtown Development Alliance and
Women in Leadership.
Government
Affairs: The Legislative Affairs area works with all
local, county, state and federal government entities to foster a
positive environment for the business community. Military Affairs
serves as the liaison between the Chamber and Fort Hood, participating
in support activities throughout the year.
Member
Services: Increases new members' awareness of Chamber
benefits and how to maximize their investment through promotion,
privileges, participation, and the many opportunities to network with
other Chamber members.
Workforce
Development: The Workforce Development Committees
influence the development and coordination of programs and address the
education and training needs of the community with emphasis on work
readiness and technical training, and recruitment. |
